This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to play a crucial role as a corporate and commercial paralegal in a corporate setting.

Perform research and analysis for the termination decision-making process.

  • Create and maintain a corporate information database (shares, officer, director, etc.)
  • Assist in responding to information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and initial drafting of policies and training.
  • Manage electronic and physical documents to support the business organization’s compliance and operational requirements (including permits and licenses).
  • Research relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles.
  • Assist and review the allocation of financial resources (forecast expenses and budgets to ensure compliance with Finance and cash flow requirements).
  • Support external resources’ management (administration of vendors and law firms, including selection, onboarding, KPIs tracking, billing guidance compliance, and payments).
  • Organize and maintain filing systems, manage service of process, and office correspondence, both physical and digital.
  • Assist other functional teams with various projects (i.e., Finance, HR, Operations, and Commercial teams, on an as-needed basis).

What we look for :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role either in-house or at a law firm.
  • Paralegal certification preferred.
  • Must have experience with contract, transactional work, and / or corporate secretary.
  • Excellent research, analytical, organization, and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with good problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and client-service focus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, database creation and maintenance, legal research, and matter management software.
