About the Role : Java Developer in Seattle, WA (Onsite)

Job Title : Java Developer

Responsibilities

• As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and producing our core business systems.
• These systems satisfy customer and organization business requirements and provide solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
• The developer understands business problems and opportunities and applies technical skills in the design, development, and testing of data flows, applications, and systems.
• The position is responsible for driving project technical direction and decisions.

Minimum Qualifications :

• 2-3 years of employment experience using Object Oriented Programming
• Proficient in Core and Advanced Java (Java 8+).
• Familiarity with advanced Java topics such as web services and database connectivity.
• Experience developing applications with Spring Transactions and Spring ORM (e.g., Spring JPA, Spring Hibernate).
• Familiar with Event Streaming, especially using the Kafka framework.
• UI development experience using Angular (preferred) or AngularJS.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent job-related experience.
• Experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEs, various plug-ins, Git, Maven, and Nexus.
• CI / CD knowledge.
• Understanding of the transportation / global logistics industry.

Location : Worksite available in Seattle, WA (onsite)

Salary Range : The salary for this position is between $70K / year- $90K. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
