Job Duties and Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and maintenance of Dynamux (Python / Django ), our video lifecycle management and delivery system Contribute to the development and maintenance of our DRM stack, including support for PlayReady (C#), FairPlay and Wide vine (Python), and our own KeyStore (python / Django)
- Very strong in Python, bash or similar
- CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, EC2, EKS, ECR, S3)
- Proficient in automation and deploying CI and CD tools and services (Jenkins Pipeline as Code, Git, Maven).
- Hands on experience building solutions with tools and services like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or custom build orchestration tools leveraging SDKs or directly interacting with APIs
- Experience working one or more of the following languages : Java, Python, or Node.js o Ability to infuse security into CI / CD process with ease to promote innovation.
- Knowledge of networking, IAM, public cloud, enterprise logging, SIEM, API Management, containerization and securit
Skil ls Experience and Requirements
A successful Software Engineer will possess :
- 4 year degree in CS or related field or equivalent combination of education
- Must have Python development experience
- Top skills :
- Python development
- AWS experience having an application deployed in AWS
- Good scripting knowledge
- Hands on with Linux operating system
- DevOps from a developer perspective
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience interfacing with ffmpeg libraries Python / Django experience is a positive, but not necessarily required Linux system administration (Ubuntu)
- Experience developing or using software related to encoding or decoding of digital video and / or audio
- Experience developing software related to encryption / decryption of data especially digital video and / or audio Experience with Digital Rights Management (DRM) and related technologies
- Fast learner that can dive in to just about any job and quickly contribute Professional pride in generating clean, reliable, easy to maintain code
The ability to create clear, easy-to-read documentation in code and, as required, in associated end-user documentation A positive and proactive attitude toward finding solutions, meeting commitments, and assisting others, pitching in wherever is most needed
