Looking for :
- Senior Windows Engineer with highly regulated, complex environment experience (ie : HIPPA, government, finance, etc.)
- Cloud is important. They expect to be 90% in the cloud over the next couple of years.
- Active Directory (DNS, GPOs, multi-site replication), expert level Windows server administration and troubleshooting, maintenance including Windows server patching, backups and monitoring.
Must have experience with a variety of Windows applications.
- Should have some experience getting applications to communicate through a firewall.
- Strong PowerShell scripting experience
- Strong VMWare ESXi and Horizon VDI experience.
- Deep understanding of "Hub and Spoke" environments and a strong understanding of networking
- Must have Azure or AWS cloud experience.
- Any Microsoft certifications, Cisco CCNA, etc. would be great.
- MUST understand what hub and spoke network is and worked in this model. All traffic goes through a firewall, even server traffic.
Will ask about how to troubleshoot certain scenarios / what ports needed to be open for certain servers / file servers.
- Configuring VMware with shared storage
- Experience Managing ISCSI Storage Arrays Dell, EMC, etc.
- Experience Managing and Maintaining Dell Servers
- Experience with DUO 2FA a plus
Description :
- Must be able to excel in a highly secure, Government regulated environment (HIPAA, NIST 800-53, 800-171 CMMC)
- MS Certifications - Prefer MCSE (prior) and Certified Hybrid Administrator Associate (Current)
- Expert Level Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP Multi-Site Replication
- Expert Level Windows Server Administration 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 would be great
- ADFS Experience a plus
- Advanced level PowerShell skills
- Office 365 / SharePoint / One Drive / Teams administration 5 years
- VMWare experience 5 years
- Horizon View / Horizon Cloud VDI experience 5 years
- Solid Networking Background Should be able to setup and diagnose applications which require specific ports to function CCNA a plus
- Must have experience working within the boundaries of a hub and spoke network where all traffic is inspected by the firewall
- Good documentation skills
- Any Architect experience a plus - Designing and implementing a multi-site Active Directory deployment for example
- Azure / AWS Experience a plus Azure VMs, AWS EC2
- Jira experience a plus
- ITIL knowledge a plus Change Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Incident Management
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
- Must be able to balance multiple tasks / priorities
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
