The Warehouse Technician is responsible for ensuring the goods reach the customer on time and in full (OTIF) by handling warehousing facilities and being able to effectively manage time to pack and prepare goods corresponding to open orders. This position requires frequent and thorough communication with all parties to ensure expectations are managed and satisfied.

It is critical that BHC & AEC Orders are managed professionally, politely, and promptly to maintain favorable relationships with all Distributors and Customers.

The Logistics Technician’s main responsibilities include packing and wrapping orders, loading and unloading trucks and helping maintain clean and organized storage facilities. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively communicate production needs and logistics. Maintaining and following processes and paperwork is critical to ensuring the efficient operation aspect of this position.

Warehouse Technician-

o Proactively maintain delivery schedule and calendar.

o All orders are locked in and finalized 2 weeks before delivery.

o All products are packed and wrapped 1 week prior to delivery.

o Checking sales orders for accuracy and oddities.

o Ensure that all products being shipped out are correct and fit for shipment.

o Work with the production team to ensure all orders are delivered OTIF.

o Coordinate production needs and deadlines.

o Any orders that will be short or pushed back must be notified as soon as possible in advance.

o Follow SOPs designated throughout the area.

o Attends all weekly meetings as seen fit for responsibilities.

o Diligent Paperwork and record keeping.

o Legible handwriting and Organizational skills.

Inventory-

o Maintain accurate inventories at all times.

o Work with the warehouse and scheduling teams to stay up to date on finished goods inventories.

o Complete finished product counts monthly, and full inventory counts taken quarterly to ensure there are no discrepancies.

o Working with production team to ensure there is zero inventory shortage.

o Monitoring and managing all incoming goods.

o Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse to properly track and FIFO products.

General and Administrative-

o Zero Injuries in respective work areas ensure all team members are following all safety protocols.

o Communicate effectively with the Production Team, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that goals and objectives are met.

o Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals.

o Ensure you are complying with company customer contact standards. Follow systems and procedures outlined in the company procedures.

o Maintain a positive attitude and stay aligned with the company goals.

o Follows all instructions (written and verbal) as given by the Production Manager

o Ensure that all company transactions are done in an ethical and prudent manner.

o Keeps updated on the events in the industry and marketplace to take advantage of new trends.

o Maintaining cleanliness outside & inside including garbage, debris, cement areas, flower beds.

Specifically, responsible for cold storage and driveway organization and cleanliness.

o Stay in communication with Tasting room to ensure they always have enough supply of product

o All paperwork is diligently completed in an accurate and timely manner.

o Always Conducts himself / herself in a professional and cooperative manner.

o Provides a high degree of cooperation and interaction with other employees and departments to ensure all employees are utilizing their time efficiently and effectively.

o Fully completing assigned tasks, or seeking assistance when needed

o Utilizes time in an efficient and effective manner

o Makes a positive contribution to the team through attitude, ideas, and work ethic.

o Whenever a mistake is made, a solution on how to ensure it will never happen again must be implemented.

Requirements :

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements-

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must have proficient math skills.
• Ability to deal effectively with vendors in person.
• Excellent understanding of the principles of Logistics
• Able to use Microsoft Office Applications if necessary.
• Able to work with others and / or independently.
• The ability to frequently and repeatedly lift 20lbs and maneuver 165lbs.
• Must be able to remain standing for an entire shift.
• Energetic team players must be a self-starter with minimal supervision and good follow-through.
• Demonstrated ability to follow and improve processes
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and integrity is a must.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Ability to be patient and overcome stressful situations.
• Ability to work on the fly and shift to different responsibilities as needed.
• Desire to obtain a CDL in the future a plus.
