Key Responsibilities
General Duties :
- Equipment & Fueling Requests : Receive and process equipment move and fueling requests from Division Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen promptly.
- Efficiency Monitoring : Oversee the efficiency of lowboy tractor-trailers and fuel-lube trucks, promoting best practices in routing and scheduling.
- Driver Scheduling : Encourage flexibility in driver schedules to accommodate early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as necessary for equipment moves and fueling.
Equipment Moves :
- Dispatch Coordination : Assign and manage in-house lowboy tractor-trailers according to current and anticipated needs, focusing on reducing empty trailer trips and planning logistics in advance.
- Communication : Liaise with Foremen and Superintendents to gather details on equipment pickup and drop-off times and locations.
- Permitting : Acquire, record, and distribute hauling permits as needed for equipment transportation.
Equipment Fueling :
- Dispatch Fuel Trucks : Manage the dispatch of in-house fuel-lube trucks based on current and future jobsite fueling requirements.
- Site Communication : Coordinate with Foremen and Superintendents to identify and prioritize job sites requiring fuel for the upcoming day.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
This position is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement and fueling of equipment, ensuring timely and efficient operations This role involves scheduling, communication with various stakeholders, and effective management of lowboy tractor-trailers and fuel lube trucks.
This is a permanent, full-time, day shift position. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required.
