About the position :
The City of Portland is seeking a Business Systems Analyst III within the Portland Bureau of Transportation. This Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the Work and Asset Management system and works closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into system requirements, and ensure that system effectively supports business processes.
This role requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to drive system improvements and support organizational objectives.
This role will also provide leadership and support in delivering technology and information solutions that enhance productivity, lower costs, and improve information delivery for Operations.
About the division & the bureau :
The Business Systems Analyst III is a lead BSA on the Technology Services Division within PBOT. The Technology Services Division is made up of BSA’s, Project Managers, Developers, Database and Server Administrators, and GIS Analysts.
The BSA III will lead complex projects across our Bureau and sometimes across the City. Projects often include working with the following types of systems / tools : Enterprise Asset Management (Maximo 7.
6, Maximo Application Suite, Maximo Mobile etc.), ESRI GIS Tools, Microsoft Azure, Workflow Tools, Data Visualization Tools, Microsoft Office 365 Tools, and Custom Developed Web Applications.
