Litigation Legal Assistant

This position will support attorneys with all aspects of complex litigation matters. Position offers great team culture, hybrid schedule and competitive benefits and compensation.

Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to a team of litigation attorneys.

Assist in preparation, formatting, editing, and proofreading legal pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents following attorney instructions.

Manage and organize case files electronically and in hard copy, ensuring all documents are readily accessible.

Assist with attorney time keeping, billing and expense reports

Calendar deadlines, schedule appointments, and manage attorney calendars.

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional and courteous manner.

Perform other legal and administrative tasks as assigned.

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work performed.

Qualifications :

3+ years of litigation experience in a law firm environment

Strong understanding of legal terminology and concepts.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience with legal research databases a plus.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and other team members.

Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
