The Linux Systems engineer will be joining team of skilled engineers currently maintaining and upgrading a legacy network.
Qualifications
- Must have TS / SCI w / poly
- Self-starter
- Ability to manage and schedule software releases and system upgrades
- Familiarity with Rocky8 and Ubuntu
- Experience with centralized authentication, auditing, logging, and backups
- Understanding of OpenVPN, SELinux, NFS, and CIFS
- Clear written communication in the form of documentation
- Willingness to learn new technologies and help clients before escalating to senior staff
- Network Operations Center (NOC) or Help desk experience
- Automation
- Vsphere
