About The Position
Job Title : X-Ray Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 8 weeks Shift : Mid Shift, 5x8-Hour (14 : 00 - 22 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Experience : 1 year required License : ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R) accepted Certifications : BLS required Must-Have : - Agency must supply a radiation badge- O / C-Arm experience Job Description : The position involves an 8-week contract as an X-Ray Technician.
- Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 30 PM.- The first week of the contract requires day shift work for orientation.
- Participation in on-call rotation is required, approximately 3-4 days per month.- Floating within scope to meet facility needs, including other buildings on the same campus, may be required.
- Radiation badge is mandatory and must be provided by the agency.- A teaching hospital environment with Magnet and Level 1 Trauma designation.
- Specific scrub colors required : Teal top and black bottoms.- Charting is done using Epic software.- During hurricane season, employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.
- Flu vaccine required, with medical or religious exemptions only.Please ensure all requested time off is included at submission, as approval will be based on facility needs.
Candidates must be separated from this system for one year to return as a traveler. Modules average four hours, are non-billable, and must be completed pre-start.
