Your role in our mission

• Work with Business, Architects and System Analysts to fully understand the business requirements and translate them into Conceptual, Logical and Physical models.
• Create and maintain, conceptual, logical and physical data models defining information requirements to meet end user needs.
• Partner with development and QA teams to communicate the business rules, data models and ensure test cases target the quality and integrity of the data model.
• Partner with DBAs to transform logical data models into physical database designs while optimizing the performance and maintainability of the physical database
• Works closely with DBA on the DDLs creation, maintenance and optimization of the database.
• Analytical ability and business acumen to collect multiple sources of data and draw conclusions.
• Responsible for building solutions involving large data sets using SQL methodologies Has strong analytical SQL experience working with dimensional modeling.
• Deliver projects on-time and to specification with quality.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience working with datasets with strong understanding on how data should be optimized within transactional , reporting and big data architectures
• 5+ years of experience in health care industry working with extensive amounts of healthcare data (claim and clinical sides) and major databases
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud strategy, architecture, migration and implementation using Azure / AWS / Hadoop
• Expert knowledge of data modeling and understanding of different data structures and their benefits and limitations under particular use cases
• Expert hands on experience on any data modelling tools like Erwin, ER studio.
• Ability to apply mastery knowledge in one of the relational data base (DB2, MSSQL, Teradata, Oracle 8i / 9i / 10g / 11i)

• Occasional evening and weekend work
