if starting later, must have begun the licensing process Certifications : Required certifications as per unit description Must-Have : - Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs- Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays- Complete 12 hours of orientation Job Description : - Registered Nurse with a specialty in PCU to work in an acute adaptable unit.
- Flexibility is required, as the clinician may need to float to inpatient acuity adaptable units.- The position allows for a discussion on accommodating a block schedule.
- Candidates must have graduated from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE.- Compliance with required vaccinations is necessary, excluding the COVID-19 vaccine, though the flu vaccine is required with possible exemptions.
- Local residents generally not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions; however, surgical services, allied positions, and clinics will consider local travelers.
- Floating may occur within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals. This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PCU nurse looking to contribute to a dynamic and adaptable acute care team.
