Anchor Talent has partnered with a nationwide contractor looking to onboard a National Construction Account Manager who will drive revenue growth through the acquisition and management of commercial construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the construction, renovation or engineering industries, have exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to foster strong relationships with clients and partners.
This role has nationwide coverage, so there is a travel requirement of 25% overnight and ideally spend 50%+ in the field driving business development and relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and solicit new business opportunities in the commercial construction sector.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market presence.
- Manage and grow relationships with key national accounts. Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication, project management, and problem-solving.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Lead negotiations for projects
- Work closely with legal and financial teams to finalize agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to address any issues or changes.
- Conduct site visits, tradeshows, attend industry events, and meet with clients across the country.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance and market conditions.
Qualifications :
- 2+ years sales and account management experience
- Construction, industrial, engineering industry experience preferred
- HS Diploma, some college preferred
- Bilingual is a plus!
- 25%+ travel ability including overnight nationwide
Compensation and Benefits :
- Compensation :
- Base : $75K - $90K DOE
- Commission : Uncapped (typically pays $4K-$7K+ monthly)
