Full-Time, Onsite, K - 12th Grade Special Education Teacher (SPED) Openings Near Robbinsdale, MN
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
We are partnering with schools in the Robbinsdale, Minnesota area to findfull-time, on-site Special Education Teachers (SPED) for the full 2024-2025 school year for a variety of openings.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized education tailored to students with various disabilities.
You will collaborate with other teachers, professionals, and families to create and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that promote students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Position Details :
- 08 / 23 / 2024 - 06 / 05 / 2025
- Full-time / 37.5hours a week, Monday - Friday
- Caseload Openings at the elementary, middle, and high school level. Caseload details will be discussed during the interview process and priority will be given to candidate's preferences
- Pay Range : $25 - $50 per hour, depending on previous experience
Requirements :
- Must have a valid Minnesota Teaching License with any of the 6 Special Education Endorsements
- Must have Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education, or related field
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
General Responsibilities :
- Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans to accommodate varying learning styles.
- Monitor and track student progress; communicate progress to parents, guardians, and other stakeholders.
- Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes student engagement, motivation, and self-confidence.
- Implement behavior management strategies and support students in developing social skills.
