Director of Outpatient Services

Eliot’s Clinical Division provides an multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, mental health counselors and other professionals administer a full range of clinical and support services, resulting in a comprehensive collaborative approach to treatment.

Eliot is seeking an independently licensed Clinical Director to oversee our Outpatient clinic in Danvers. The OP Clinical Director is responsible for day-to-day operations of an outpatient clinic, including satellite and outreach sites, ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures, DPH standards, and third party payer requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Direct the day-to-day operations of an outpatient clinic, including satellite and outreach sites.
• Responsible for the management of all staff including recruitment, selection, retention, disciplinary action, clinical and administrative supervision, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure the integration of outpatient services with other agency services including emergency services, respite services, residential services and other day services as necessary to ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate clinical services with the Medical Director or designee in order to ensure that the medical staff and clinical staff are carrying out procedures in a uniform and / or complimentary manner.
• Oversee Department of Mental Health and / or other contracts awarded to the program and develop, implement and monitor compliance with contract requirements and budget, including adequate staffing, service capacity, and accessibility to meet requests for service within funding levels.
• Monitor and reinforce appropriate billing and fee collection policies and procedures.
• Monitor the development and implementation of goal-oriented treatment plans in accordance with utilization review standards, sound clinical practice, and in collaboration with the client.

Chair the multidisciplinary team review process as needed. Participate in the Utilization Review Committee of the Agency.

Responsible for marketing the Clinic, increasing referrals and obtaining additional managed care contracts. Respond to town and community funding requests, attend community functions and participate on specialized Community committees as requested.

Schedule : Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
