- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits SUMMARY A large trauma hospital in Spokane, WA is searching for a permanent full-time Registered Nurse for their Operating Room.
The registered nurse will work in the main OR and work on a variety of cases including Neuro, Ortho, General / GU / GYN / Robotic, and Plastic / Pediatric / ENT surgery.
This is a fast-paced unit made up of caring individuals who put the patient’s safety and concerns before themselves. This is very much a team-like atmosphere and it’s an excellent opporntity to provide quality care to patients in an environment that fosters transparency, respect and partnership! RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill and injured patient
- Administer medication as instructed by physicians
- Document observations, assessments, and changes in patient's condition
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes
- Provide a full range of nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and / or behavioral problems REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ year of acute care RN experience
- Previous surgical services experience preferred
- Nursing degree / diploma required. Must be willing to obtain a BSN within 3years of hire
- A RN with 20 years of RN experience will be exempt from the BSN requirement
- Current Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire. BENEFITS
