Development, release, and support of engineering artifacts across the development cycle to support hardware fabrication, assembly, verification, test and operations.

Implements operating procedures, resolves system malfunctions, and provide technical information. Researches and analyzes customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.

Specifies system components or directs modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.

Investigates equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.

You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of designing, building, testing and flying Environmental Control and Life Support (ECLS) flight hardware .

The ECLS System is composed of the essential hardware to allow humans to safely inhabit space . ECLSS circulates air around the vehicle picking up carbon dioxide, humidity and trace contaminants to be scrubbed and provides oxygen for breathing .

The internal cabin pressure is maintained and monitored . Clean drinking water is provided to the crew . The ECLS system also monitors for emergencies such as rapid depressurization and fire and counteracts them .

Own the crew module fire suppression system and interfaces through the entire life cycle : Conception, Design, Build, Test, Install and Operations .

Perform system calculations .

Solve technical and program problems with the help of your team.

Be actively involved in development testing of your hardware .

Lead a multi-discipline product team .

Determine and manage schedule and budget for owned hardware .

Show system and component compliance to Blue and NASA technical requirements .

Be the technical point of contact for your hardware.

Compensation range for on site CO applicants is $88,440.00 - $123,816.00
