Description
As an Electrical Assembler with Bartelt Packaging, a ProMach product brand, you will
Read electrical schematic drawings, specifications and work orders to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions;
install components such as wiring, relays, controls and other type of controllers on electrical panels and performs final machine wiring.
Receive parts kit from inventory; examines parts for defects such as pinholes or chips; positions, aligns, or adjusts electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly;
cleanly routes wiring to panel according to diagram.
- Drill and tap holes in specified locations on the machine for mounting control units.
- Attach breakers, relays, contactors, transformers, insulators, regulator cabinets, condenser units, motor and generator sets, meters, plugging devices, and fuse blocks to mounting holes with bolts and screws.
- Cut, strip, bend, and form wire cable, conduit, pipe, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies; solders connections and crimps connectors to wire ends.
- Use a variety of electrical testing and gauging devices; inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for operation and records results.
- Troubleshoot problems with assembly of machine by interacting with EAI, supervisor or engineers.
- Record labor hours correctly using the Enterprise Resource Planning system.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
High school diploma or equivalent, technical certificate from trade school, two years or more electrical production experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
