We have an exciting opportunity in our Woodbury Commons Shop on a full-time basis. The Sales Support Associate at Paul Smith plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations both in the front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH).
This position is responsible for supporting the sales team, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the store’s appearance and inventory.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about fashion.
The Role
- Partner with the Operations Manager and Store Management team to ensure positive brand representation as portrayed through product, store maintenance, and customer service.
- Assist with inventory and stock management.
- Ensure maximization of storage and capacity in all product and supply categories.
- Assist with the investigation and rectification of inventory discrepancies.
- Contribute to the achievement of low inventory shrink and high inventory accuracy by ensuring consistent execution at all inventory touchpoints : receiving, transfers, RTV, sales, and cycle counts.
- Work with the sales team to provide exemplary customer service : Assist with POS, customer repairs, fitting room upkeep and tasks as assigned
- Have proper understanding of BOH / FOH IT systems, including POS transaction
- Provide assistance to our Visual Merchandising team on floor sets, window changes and other projects, as needed
- To ensure that you attend staff training sessions to maintain a high level of product knowledge at all times.
- To ensure that a high level of housekeeping is kept to the Company’s desired standard, both on and off the shop floor.
- Maintain a knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures

- Identify opportunities to support the team in delivering an elevated luxury experience
- Contribute to a positive, fun, professional, productive, and team oriented store atmosphere
- Any other duties as outlined by the management team.
Your Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a luxury retail environment preferred.
- Previous experience working in sales or back of house roles.
- Experience in providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work towards weekly sales goals and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
