Sales Consultant

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

This position can be filled remote for Richmond, VA or Hybrid in Annadale, Va / Washington, DC area.

Responsible for sales and service of Group Products to the producers within his / her assigned territory.

Responsible for the sales of Company products, achieving sales goals by line of business.

Responsible for the development of brokers within his / her sales territory.

Adherence to established Field and Home Office administrative procedures.

Adherence to company underwriting guidelines while soliciting and securing profitable business.

Will provide service to policyholders and brokers as necessary.

Assist the Regional Sales Manager in the general operation of sales office functions as requested.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and / or Related Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Relevant Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.

Must have a minimum of 3 years previous group employee benefit sales experience. This request may be waived for exceptional candidates from outside of the of the group employee benefit industry on a case by case basis.

The expected hiring range reflects base salary only. Your total compensation package will consist of a combination of base salary and commission

Ability to Travel : Up to 50%

Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
