Network Architect

Key Role :

Use your experience in network design and architecture, system interoperability, OSI model, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding to support the nation's defense and resp ond to evolving adversaries.

Enable strategic or tactical transformations through informed decision-making at any level of an enterprise to support governance, future growth, adaptability, optimization, innovation, and modernization initiatives, including cloud or digital solutions.

Support enterprise-wide infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, analyze current working infrastructures, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.

Basic Qualifications :

• 10+ years of experience designing and implementing DoD-accredited enterprise networks and computing environments
• 10+ years of experience developing, delivering, and managing IT network systems architectures, solutions, and implementations
• Experience with virtual applications, VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, large networks, AF Gateways, and DoD networks
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale DoD environments consisting of computer storage, networking, routing, switching, DNS, firewalls, IDS / OPS, and end-user devices
• Ability to report briefings and findings of complex te chn ical and operational topics to the highest level of DoD leadership
• Active TS / SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• HS diploma or GED
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP ) Certifications or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE ) Certification

Additional Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, or Engineering

Clearance :

TS / SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
