Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team for the full school year.
This is an onsite position requiring the successful candidate to work closely with students and staff to provide comprehensive speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and plan interventions.
- Provide training and support to school staff and parents on speech and language development.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan (MI).
- State clearances as required by Michigan law.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
