HumCap's client, a privately held, well-established company in the energy sector, is searching for a Logistics Manager to join their team.

The company specializes in the marketing and distribution of ethanol, diesel, crude oil, and gasoline blend stocks, achieving $3.

5 billion in revenue in 2023. It is expanding its portfolio with new projects in the pipeline, including a Canadian subsidiary set to launch in 2025 to meet growing market demand.

Primary Responsibilities :

The Logistics Manager will take responsibility for a product (such as ethanol, crude oil, methanol, natural gasoline, or other gasoline blendstocks) or ethanol plant(s) from contract signing through to inventory management, relationships with shippers, and systems entry & management.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage products and inventory from contract initiation to completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping companies and suppliers.
  • Ensure accuracy in systems entry and management of logistics data.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline operations.

Requirements :

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics or customer service
  • Basic accounting skills (understanding of debits and credits)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn and adapt to logistics software
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude, quick learner, and strong work ethic
  • Bachelor’s degree required
