Senior Accountant

We are partnered with an exciting, growing consumer services organization in Broward County. This is an outstanding business that is growing at a strong rate.

Currently, they are looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. It is an excellent opportunity for junior-level candidates to grow organically with a business and be exposed to many different functions as they develop.

The Senior Accountant will have a solid mentor that invests in the employees on their team.

Salary / Hourly Rate :

$80k

Position Overview :

The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities.

There is also an opportunity to be exposed to some finance planning and analysis when working so closely with the company’s Manager.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant :

• General accounting duties.
• The Senior Accountant will assist with month-end closing and year-end closing as needed.
• Financial statement preparation.
• Review general ledger accounts and prepare and adjust journal entries.
• Billing, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable as Senior Accountant.
• The Senior Accountant will perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements.
• Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals as the Senior Accountant.

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant :

• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• 4 years of experience in accounting.
• The Senior Accountant must possess extremely strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Staff Accountant.
• Ability to work with large data sets efficiently.

Education Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
