The Assistant Project Manager plays a pivotal role at RWE Design Build in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion.
This multifaceted position involves working along side the Project Manager in budgeting, scheduling, ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations, and effectively assisting on managing project teams.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the PM with all project direction, planning, completion, and financial outcome.
In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be organized and have excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the Project Manager in the planning and execution of a client project
- Ensure the project runs smoothly from start to finish
- Complete the day-to-day tasks involved in planning and implementing a project
- Coordinating with vendors, monitoring budget spending and collaborating with other departments
- 2 plus years of experience in project management
- Proficiency in ProCore or similar management software
- Manage all project documentation
- Prepare project schedule and manage deadlines
- Assist with estimation and bidding process
- Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- 1 - 2 years' of relevant experience
- Strong organizational skills
