Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Paraprofessional to support our educators and students. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to facilitate instruction, provide individualized assistance to students, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special needs.
- Help students with assignments and ensure they understand the material.
- Monitor and record student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans and educational materials.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere for students.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing materials and organizing classroom resources.
- Support the social and emotional development of students.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions as required.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Basic puter skills and familiarity with educational technology.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
