Staff Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented staff accountant to join our team. This role will primarily focus on ensuring accurate financial reporting, account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of accounting principles, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities :

Perform month-end close processes, including financial reporting and analysis.

Process journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations.

Compute and record entries related to revenue accruals, deferred revenue, prepayments, and allowance for bad debts.

Reconcile and manage revenue accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Record and manage transactions for WIP (Work-in-Progress), fixed assets, and calculate depreciation schedules.

Process payroll entries and allocate health benefits.

Conduct daily bank reconciliations and transactions.

Complete periodic financial analyses supporting month-end close activities.

Assist with balance sheet account reconciliations as needed.

Collaborate across teams to provide support for internal and external audits, including preparing requested documentation.

Research accounting issues and document findings to support compliance and accuracy.

Undertake special projects or other duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.

Requirements :

Qualifications required :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an accounting focus (required).

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, adapt to dynamic environments, and meet deadlines.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).

Hands-on experience with financial systems such as Financial Force, QuickBooks, SageX3, and OneStream.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality.

Detail-oriented and proactive, with a positive attitude toward teamwork and problem-solving in a dynamic business environment.
