Stivers Consulting and Tax Services is looking for an Individual that will make a great asset to our team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about helping clients, possesses ethical practices, and able to adjust to the complexities of taxes / accounting.

We work with clients on a personal level to determine the best solutions for our clients' unique needs, then leverage our seasoned expertise to achieve the best possible results.

Requirements

  • Must be versed in accounting, QuickBooks, tax prep and have a California Tax Education Council (CTAC) certificate.
  • Three plus years of experience is required for this position.
  • Proficient in : QuickBooks, Excel & Word
  • Prefer some experience with Lacerte tax software
  • Advance verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurately file and organize tax documents
  • Ability to handle projects on time
  • Maintain tax deadlines to ensure timely filing
  • Attention to detail
  • Uphold confidential and security information within the firm and clients, per policy and legal obligation
  • Work in teams

Job Description

  • Part-Time Monday - Friday (with potential to be promoted to Full-Time)
  • Hours : 10 : 00AM - 3 : 00PM
  • Complete a full Tax Return : Individual, Partnership, Corp., S-Corp
  • Accounting for clients on QuickBooks Desktop & Online
  • Provide management support to the tax team, including managing schedules, organizing meetings and operating phone calls with clients
