Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller - Hybrid - Atlanta, GA
Position Overview :
Our client, a leading and rapidly growing company in the construction industry with $75M in revenue and is in a high growth mode, is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Controller .
This role is pivotal to the company's growth trajectory, offering a unique opportunity to be groomed as the next Corporate Controller as they experience this tremendous growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage all transactional accounting functions, including overseeing a team of 3-5 staff members.
- Lead and perform month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements and reports for internal use.
- Provide senior management with timely reviews of the organization's financial status and progress.
- Manage and optimize the functionality of accounting software, specifically NetSuite, and ensure proper utilization of Excel
- Coordinate external audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of accounting management experience, preferably within the Construction industry or a similar service provider organization.
- Strong proficiency with a large ERP software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong Analytical skills
- Experience working with Operations.
Compensation and Benefits :
- Salary Range : $125,000 - $135,000 + / - plus bonus (flexible for the right candidate).
