WE ARE / / Pure Salt is a full-service interior design studio and e-commerce shoppe based in Newport Beach, CA. We create inspired spaces, products, and experiences that encourage people to live deeply in each moment through fresh, functional, family-friendly design.

We first opened our doors in 2016, but have since evolved into a national lifestyle brand.

We believe that great design begins with a clean and natural palette, quality furnishings, artisan textiles, layered neutrals, and nature-inspired decorative accessories.

In seven short years, we’ve built a deep roster of residential and celebrity clients, cultivated a highly engaged social media community, and been consistently recognized by our peers and the media for our designs and evolved business model.

ROLE / / The Retail / Shoppe Associate is a Seasonal / Part-time position that is intended to support the Pure Salt Shoppe during the holiday season.

We are seeking someone with a minimum of three days of weekday availability , and the ability to support the Shoppe during holiday weeks.

Work days are in eight-hour shifts , between 9am-5pm. The compensation range for this position is $18-20 / hr.

This role will engage and connect with our guests by providing a luxury experience in shoppe. This position will be an expert in product and use this expertise to educate, inform, inspire, and lead an in-store experience for the guest.

Their goal is to bring the Pure Salt brand to life for our guests while building brand loyalty and delivering with productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES / /

Customer Service / / Hosts a luxury experience for in-shoppe customers, and bridges the gaps between retail shopping and design services.

Builds customer loyalty and brand awareness.

• Daily Tasks / / Assists Studio Manager and Design Leadership with in-store tasks including, inventory counts, merchandising tasks, POS system responsibilities, clientelling, shoppe facility tasks, opening / closing procedures, supports weekly sales reporting, and other ancillary shoppe-related tasks.
• Team Support / / T akes a proactive approach to connect with operations team members and ensure all showroom product information is streamlined with e-comm product names, descriptions, and pricing.
• Creativity / / Provides a fresh perspective and shows constant curiosity to learn and grow.
• Ownership / / Facilitates a high-end approach to asset management in-shoppe by taking care of the showroom and design studio space with care and concern.

Reporting any facilities issues to management, opening / closing responsibilities for the showroom, light cleaning, and supply / product refresh, etc.

• Training and knowledge are shared as opportunities arise.
• Other duties as assigned, and subject to change with business needs.

EXPERIENCE + EDUCATION / /

• 1+ years of brand ambassador and / or retail experience
• Experience with Google Suite and Shopify, are a plus
• High School Diploma required
