Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking Respiratory Therapist 3 to join the team. This position full-time (36 hrs / week) working three 12 Hour night shift and every other weekend.

Responsibilities
- The Respiratory Therapist 3 administers advanced respiratory care therapeutics and diagnostic services with a high level of skill and proficiency.
- Integrates knowledge, skills, and experience to promote optimum patient care.
- Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols, and pathways for optimal care delivery.
- Incorporates data and information to continually improve care / practice to enhance outcomes is essential. Works effectively and appropriately while communicating with other healthcare team members, patients, and families.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited CoARC (The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) respiratory care program.
- Two years in a critical care environment experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) + One of the following (ACLS, PALS or NRP).
- OR an Advanced Credential (ACCS, AEC, NPS, RPFT, CPFT or SDS) OR a relevant bachelor’s degree.
- Basic Life Support from AHA upon start.
- Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Respiratory Therapist.
