Job Description :
The Clinical Nurse II in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit will primarily care for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery.
Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, and collaborating with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for patients.
The role requires a current NYS Registered Nurse license, certification in BLS / ACLS / PALS / TNCC, and 1-3 years of previous clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Department.
This position offers 36 hours per week on day shifts.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree)
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Certification in BLS / ACLS / PALS / TNCC
- 1-3 years of previous clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Department
