Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and drive operational and cost improvements.
  • Serve as LSL’s internal and external expert on temperature-controlled logistics, ensuring the highest standards in cold chain performance and compliance.
  • Partner with Business Development to provide pre-sales support and serve as a trusted advisor to customers, presenting innovative and scalable logistics solutions.
  • Build and deploy BI tools, dashboards, and analytics to identify performance gaps and optimize decision-making at the executive level.
  • Oversee strategic business enablement projects that enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction across all facilities.
  • Collaborate with Operations, IT, Compliance, and Business Development to ensure alignment of business processes with customer and company objectives.
  • Champion change management initiatives to drive adoption of new processes, technologies, and best practices across LSL.
  • Develop and report on performance metrics to track business enablement impact and ROI.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments to position LSL for continued innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, life sciences, or pharmaceutical operations, including cold chain management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, business enablement, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and business intelligence capabilities; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and engage with customers.
  • Experience supporting sales or business development efforts through technical solution design or customer engagement preferred.
  • Highly organized, strategic thinkers with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Technical Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in business intelligence and analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Deep understanding of cold chain logistics processes and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze complex operational data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal leadership and customer presentations.
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, and logistics management systems preferred.
  • Additional Employment Requirements

  • Must be able to successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (i.e., background check and drug screen)
  • Other requirements such as professional licensing.
  • Physical / Mental / Visual Demands

  • Work is light to medium in nature with frequent walking to perform assigned tasks.
  • Work is performed in an office setting.
  • Must be able to safely conduct occasional lifting of 25 lbs.
  • Working Conditions

  • Activities occur both inside and outside.
  • Hazardous conditions may exist, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts.
  • Equipment Operated

  • Equipment : Laptop computer, fax machine, copier, desk phone, and cell phone, 2-way radio.
  • Systems : WMS, Techsys, Compliance Quest, Outlook, Excel, Word, Specialized software, etc.
