Job Title : Accounting Specialist

Pay : $60-80k, depending upon experience

As their Accounting Specialist, you will be tasked with the following duties :
- Supporting the accounting department function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other financial transactions.
- Prepare financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Process multi-state sales tax and ensure compliance
- Conducting / overseeing / supporting audits
- Assist in implementing and managing company budgets and resources
- Develop, implement and adhere to operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards, (State, Federal and Local)
- Support warehouse and customer service operations by providing problem-solving guidance on customer, shipping and / or order-related issues
We're looking for an Accounting Specialist with the following background profile :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 5+ years experience in an accounting / operations role
- Strong knowledge around ERP systems
- Excellent knowledge around GAAP
The overall goal for this Accounting Specialist will be to ensure that the company's financial operations run smoothly and efficiently in order to effectively meet business goals.
