Our family of schools includes three middle schools (Grades 6-8), fifteen elementary schools (TK / K-5), three schools with all grades (K-8), and one Early Education Center.

We also have preschools co-located at our six elementary sites. We have various theme based schools : Montessori, Immersion (Spanish and Mandarin), and STEM.

ACHIEVEMENT GOAL : Create learning opportunities for ALL Pre-K through 8th students resulting in closing the achievement gap and culminating in personal and academic success in high school and beyond.

San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for substitute Paraeducator I-Preschool (teachers assistants). This is an on call position at our Preschools.

  • Definition : Under general supervision, to assist teacher in planning, supervision, curriculum development and classroom arrangement, organization and maintenance;
  • to provide instructional support and learning enrichment, using developmentally appropriate practices and materials to monitor child safety, perform housekeeping functions, and assist in the physical care and feeding of children;

and to perform related work as required. Work with a GREAT district!!!
