KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide high quality, professional day-to-day execution of financial audit engagements and projects in line with firm risk management practices
  • Serve as a subject matter professional support in financial management processes, capabilities, systems, tools, and applications within the areas of budget planning, execution, and reporting
  • Lead teams that leverage data analytics capabilities to transfer raw data into answers incorporating emerging trends and initiatives
  • Help identify performance improvement opportunities for clients and lead client meeting and presentations
  • Leverage data analytics tools such as Tableau, Microsoft BI, and Qlik to assess data sets and draw insights and analysis
  • Provide recommendations on financial management and budgetary challenges of federal agencies
  • Help identify performance improvement opportunities for clients and lead client presentations

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of five years of experience in Federal Internal Audit / Enterprise Risk Management
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university in business, accounting or finance field; CPA certification preferred
  • Experience / professional expertise in areas of : A-123, financial audit readiness, federal financial audit, enterprise risk, and federal financial management
  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills, and experience in supervising staff level resources
  • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
  • citizenship required and an active Federal government TS / SCI + Poly security clearance
