Job Summary
- The LPN is responsible for assisting the registered nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- The LPN is accountable for all patients assigned to him / her according to established policies and procedures of Avera St.
Luke’s and the scope of practice for the licensed practical nurse.
Education and / or Experience
- Post high school completion of accredited licensed practical nurse program.
- Previous hospital experience, critical care experience preferred. Must possess good communication skills.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Current license to practice in the state of South Dakota with expanded role LPN.
- Previous nursing experience is desirable, but not required.
Work Schedule
- Monday - Thursday; 72 hours 2 weeks
- 9-hour shifts
7 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$22.75 - $31.50 per hour
