Job Summary
Within our Client & Product Analytics division and dedicated Healthcare Economics Team (HET) you will support one of BCBSTX’s largest and most important employer clients.
By analyzing their members’ health, utilization, and financial data you will provide meaningful insights to ultimately help them save money and choose the appropriate products and programs for their members.
This is a high-visibility role in the organization with exposure to various other departments and executives. This is a great opportunity for those that enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum of three (3) days in-office visibility per week in a posted HCSC office on an ongoing basis.
- HCSC cannot consider candidates for this role who do or will require sponsorship for employment visa now or at any time in the future.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree OR one (1) year of experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data, including pharmacy.
- Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional role.
- Typically requires a college or university degree OR the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts.
- Receives significant instruction, guidance and direction from others.
- Uses existing procedures to solve routine or basic problems.
- Learns needed skills by performing assigned work.
- Learns to work autonomously
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS :
Preference will be given to applicants with the following skills, experience, education, or knowledge :
- Technical experience using SQL to create reports or deliver data analysis
- Experience implementing data initiatives including data modeling, data mapping, and creation of ETL processes
- Experience working with SQL Server stored procedures or Teradata stored procedures

Base Pay Range
$43,900.00 - $97,700.00
