LICENSED CIVIL ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGER - WATER/WASTE WATER

KSA is searching for a Civil Engineer Project Manager with experience specialized in water / wastewater design projects. As a Project Manager, you would need to be passionate about and enjoy meeting clients and providing best in the industry solutions for their needs.

We are also looking for someone with experience managing a team or someone with a high-level interest in supervising, developing, and helping others grow in their career.

The home office for this position will be KSA's Shreveport, Louisiana office.

Requirements

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and design for projects relating to municipal and private sector clients. Typical projects include water lines, water tanks, water wells, sewer lines, lift stations, water / wastewater treatment, and drainage.
• Building and maintaining client relationships is critical in this role and will play a significant role in business development.
• Specific experience with and enjoyment in the design of wastewater treatment plants would be well suited to the current projects.
• Provides estimates for engineering fee budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.
• Ability to independently perform all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
• Applies technical expertise to review, approve, and seal work.
• Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.
• Support the work of others and mentor junior level engineers & design / drafting technical staff.
• Ensure project compliance with all KSA practices and quality, safety, and governmental design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited University.
• 10+ years relevant experience in water / wastewater engineering.
• Current Professional Engineering License in Louisiana (or ability to obtain within 6 months through reciprocity).
• Experience in the production and supervising a team in the delivery of water / wastewater construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with MS Office Software (TEAMS, Word, Excel, Newforma, Bluebeam).

Preferences

• Experience in a leadership role on projects that delivered multi-disciplinary infrastructure improvement projects.
• Experience performing construction administration of public infrastructure.
• Experience in delivering projects for public clients.
• Experience working with and managing survey, Geotech, and other subconsultants.
• Experience with proposal preparations and interviews.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Good people management skills.
• Good presentation skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
