About The Position
Job Title : Interventional Radiology Tech Job Specialty : Interventional Radiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (08 : 00 - 18 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Apply after the first call off per pay period Experience : Minimum of 1 year required;
First-timers accepted License : Florida license required; compact license not accepted Certifications : BLS, ARRT, ARRT advanced certifications required Must-Have : Siemens scanner experience Job Description : Handle a daily caseload of 15-25 cases per tech in Interventional Radiology.
- Perform procedures including stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, and drainages.
- Conduct diagnostic studies for upper and lower extremities, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary, vascular, venous access, and neurological studies.
- Utilize PACS, portables, contrast, and perform biopsies.- Experience with outpatient, inpatient, operating room, emergency room, community hospital, NICU, and adult ICU settings required.
- Preferred experience with Cerner EMR.- Will be part of a team handling neuro and interventional radiology cases including stroke management, coilings, flow diverters, cerebrals, kypho, biopsies, pain management, angios, embos, veograms, IVC filters, G & J tubes, vascular lines, nephro, and biliary cases.
- COVID-19 vaccination required with exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons.- On-call requirement as needed.
- Navy blue, burgundy, or khaki scrubs required.- Smoke-free facility.- Complete 4-6 hours of modules and pass / fail EKG exam with three attempts available.
Note : Specific requirements regarding weekend shifts, block schedules, and floating responsibilities will be discussed during the interview process.
