Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general manufacturing maintenance with expertise in machine repair, electrical systems, plumbing, and welding.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including equipment PM’s, electrical wiring, plumbing, and welding repairs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery and equipment malfunctions to identify root cause and implement solutions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production delays.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Document maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and equipment status.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and welding techniques.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition and stamina to handle physical tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus.
