About The Position
Job Title : Social Worker Job Specialty : Social Services - Floor 2 Job Duration : 15 weeks Shift : 8H Nights Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Required Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : Experience with Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR Job Description : Provide comprehensive social work services in an acute care setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to address patient needs.- Assist patients and families in understanding and coping with social, emotional, and financial challenges.
- Develop individualized discharge plans based on patient evaluations.- Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.
- Deliver compassionate care while respecting patient confidentiality.- Adapt to the dynamic environment of night shifts.
- Participate in orientation sessions as required. Please note that the employer reserves the right to cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
