We are seeking highly qualified American Sign Language interpreters with experience interpreting for State and Federal government agencies to join our team .
Ideal candidates will reside in Maryland (MD) Washington D.C. (DC) or Northern Virginia (VA) and have a proven track record in interpreting for governmentrelated events and meetings.
Responsibilities :
- Provide accurate and highquality American Sign Language interpretation for State and Federal government clients.
- Ensure clarity and continuity during live interpretations both inperson and remote.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality during all interpreting assignments.
Requirements
Qualifications (Required) :
- At least 3 years of professional interpreting experience in State and Federal government settings.
- Proven expertise in consecutive and simultaneous interpretation.
- Familiarity with the terminology and protocols of governmentrelated work.
Skills and Competencies :
- Strong experience interpreting for State and Federal government clients.
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse client needs.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
Additional Competencies (preferred but not required) :
- Experience with remote interpreting platforms.
- Familiarity with government meeting protocols and legal terminology.
