We are seeking an energetic, patient-centered Registered Nurse for our Womens Medicine Unit at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus! Our brand new, 30-bed unit is located in the Inova Womens Hospital, the only dedicated womens hospital in Northern Virginia.

On this unit, you will see a variety of womens general medicine patients. The Womens Medicine Unit is a sister unit to our nationally recognized Womens Surgical Specialty Unit.

Our usual nurse to patient ratio is four or five patients to one RN.

Patients on this unit include :

• General medicine
• Sickle Cell patients
• End of life
• Telemetry and continuous Pulse Oximetry monitoring
• Laparoscopic surgery
• Surgical overflow from the Womens Surgical Specialty Unit

Schedule : Full time Nights, 3x12 hour shifts per week : 7p-7a

Sign-On / Relocation Bonus Information : This position is eligible for a competitive Sign-On Bonus. Candidates who are relocating 50 miles or further are also eligible for relocation assistance.

The Inova Registered Nurse :

Required Experience : A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.

• Proficient computer skills required
• Minimum Education Requirement : Education : BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN);

must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Minimum Licensure / Certification Requirement :

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start
