About The Position
Job Title : Radiographer II Job Specialty : Diagnostic Radiography Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday Nights 6 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36.
00 per week Experience : Preferred one year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional License : Current Basic Life Support required upon hire Certifications : ARDMS, ARRT, and / or CCI credentials in the cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty Must-Have : Knowledge of diagnostic radiography techniques, operation, and maintenance of radiographic equipment;
communication and interpersonal skills Job Description : Perform advanced level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations.
- Circulate to various diagnostic radiology areas such as surgery, trauma, and pediatrics.- Recognized as an expert in the field or participate in a training program to enhance knowledge and skills in specialized radiology areas.
- Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies, including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography.
- Assist physicians and perform specialized imaging procedures.- Troubleshoot and resolve problems regarding equipment and / or film output.
- Serve as a resource and preceptor for other radiographers and / or students.- Participate in training programs to enhance radiology skills and become proficient in producing images in Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Special Procedures.
- Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for the primary area of responsibility.- Perform other assigned duties. Skills Required : Ability to prioritize assignments and assess, treat, and care for patients of varying ages.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.- Proficiency in computer skills.
