WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER
As our Senior Software Test Engineer, you will contribute to the testing of software core to our product. As the primary software test engineer, you will write enabling manual and automatic test scripts, set up the foundational test architecture and implement new software test features.
You will help establish testing practices that foster high-growth teams and comply with industry standards. Being a team player, you enjoy working with our software, clinical, UX, and systems engineers as you work to optimize our system prototype and product designs.

Responsibilities :
- Work with software and other engineers (clinical, systems, mechanical, electrical) as part of a focused cross-functional team developing software for medical devices and applications
- Understand clinical needs, customer input requirements, and software requirements to test software features
- Work independently to create, maintain, and execute automation and / or manual test plans for software testing and verification
- Perform hands-on software and system testing of complex electro-mechanical systems
- Collect, analyze, track and report test results. Document and file bugs.
- Participate in software build and release activities
- Participate in design and product discussions
Education and Experience Requirements :
- BS / MS in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years manual software testing experience
- Familiarity with common software tool sets, including source control, continuous integration, and automated unit testing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Passionate about medical devices, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable (Nice to Have) Skills or Experience :
- Knowledge in medical imaging (Ultrasound, PET, SPECT, CT, MR, etc.)
- Experience in Design Control for regulated products, software verification, and knowledge of applicable regulations (e.
g. ISO13485 and IEC 62304)
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, software architecture
- Experience with software development process for c++ applications
- Experience testing complex electro-mechanical systems
- Experience in test automation, test automation suites and framework development (ie. Ranorex, Squish, Python, etc)
- Knowledge of Linux operating system
