As a Group Fitness Instructor at Fitness 2000 Powered By Blink Fitness, you will lead members in an energizing workout, demonstrating proper technique and targeting specific muscle groups, all while maintaining a positive workout environment.
Responsibilities :
- Teach scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time.
- Prepare appropriate equipment, music, and handouts for each class.
- Provide adequate warm-up, exercises, stretching, and cool down.
- Instruct participants on effective workout methods, explain proper techniques, demonstrate exercises, identify different muscle groups, and teach appropriate methods to strengthen specific muscles.
- Assist attendees, answer questions, and maintain a positive exercise experience.
- Program the class to accommodate a variety of fitness levels, including providing modifications.
Qualifications :
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous Group Fitness Instructor experience.
- CPR certified.
- Certified Instructor (ACE, AFAA) or equivalent (additional specialty / certifications preferred).
- Working knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology and training principles.
- Knowledge of group fitness teaching strategies and the incorporation of music, tempo, cueing technique, and rhythm.
- Choreography and music skills.
- Ability to be professional and motivate class participants.
- Active certifications in Zumba, Body Pump, Yoga, HIIT, Boot Camp, Cardio Hiit, Hip-Hop
