Shift Details : 24 hours per week RN, 11 : 00p-7 : 30a, every other weekend required.
St. Vincent's Behavioral Health Center in Westport is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team.
As a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, the RN will provide direct patient care to adults with mental health and dual diagnosis substance use disorders.

Responsibilities :
- Conduct initial and on-going bio-psychosocial assessments
- Participate in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals and interventions
- Implement nursing plan of care and conduct group therapy sessions
- Evaluate patient's response to interventions and revise nursing plan of care
- Provide direct patient care according to physician's order and appropriate protocols
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to behavioral health patients
- Reflect ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, ANA Code of Ethics, and ANA Social Policy Statement
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate's Degree required, Bachelor Degree preferred
- Experience in an acute care psychiatric setting is preferred
- Evidence of leadership ability
