Our client in located in the downtown area of Fort Lauderdale is looking for a temporary HR Generalist to cover for a medical leave.
This person will be working on site everyday Monday -Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Parking is provided. This position is great for someone that is looking for additional income or is still on a search for a perm role but open to earn income in the meanwhile.

Job Duties : Support HR Programs
- Assist in the administration of various HR programs, including employment processing, compensation, benefits, training, records management, safety, health, and employee relations.
- Execute routine tasks related to HR programs such as compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, investigations, talent management, safety, training, and development.
- Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive matters as needed.
Pre-Employment Activities
- Participate in pre-employment activities, including the completion of employment-related paperwork and documents.
- Conduct and facilitate background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Support department in conducting new hire orientations and completing the onboarding process.
Maintain Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and adhere to recommended best practices.
- Review and update policies and practices to remain in compliance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in HR, talent management, and employment law.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory.
- Preferably, a minimum of three years of experience in human resource management.
- A certification in Human Resources is a valuable asset.
