We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Controlling Manager to join our Finance team. The Manager plays a pivotal role in steering the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and commercial finance activities of our organization.
This individual will be responsible for crafting financial strategies that support the company’s growth objectives, managing financial forecasts and budgets, and providing insightful analysis to drive business decisions.
A strong foundation in SAP / S4 / HANA, exceptional team leadership, advanced business acumen, and outstanding analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities include :
- Financial Planning and Analysis : Lead the FP&A function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes to support strategic decision-making and financial performance optimization.
- Commercial Finance Oversight : Manage the commercial finance activities, ensuring financial models and analyses effectively support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and profitability assessments.
- SAP / S4 / HANA Expertise : Utilize SAP / S4 / HANA to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and provide accurate financial data for strategic analysis.
- Strategy Development : Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with the company’s goals, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements.
- Analytical Leadership : Drive the analytical agenda, leveraging financial data to provide insights into business performance, market trends, and operational efficiencies.
- Team Building and Development : Cultivate a high-performing finance team, focusing on skill development, empowerment, and career progression to ensure a robust finance function.
- Business Partnering : Act as a key business partner to various departments, providing financial expertise and guidance to support business initiatives and operational decision-making.
- Stakeholder Communication : Effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and department heads, to inform and influence business strategies.
Experience and Skills Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, or a similar strategic finance role, with proven leadership experience.
- Proficiency in SAP / S4 / HANA, with a solid track record of leveraging its capabilities to improve financial reporting and analysis.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic plans.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify financial opportunities and risks.
- Demonstrated experience in team building and development, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.
